Young children learn a second language in the same way they learn English, they listen and then they copy. Children learn through everyday topics that they are familiar with such as All about me, growing up, the zoo, the farm, the supermarket, my birthday, etc.

Las Aventuras De Mifú y Tina y Los Juguetes
Ages 4-7
With Las aventuras de Mifú y Tina y los juguetes, oral and aural skills are given priority. This is the first book in La Jolie Ronde Structured Course Series and is carefully structured to enable children to use their knowledge of simple Spanish language creatively, confidently and with imagination.
¡Hola Pedro y Carmen!
Ages 7-9
A starting point for 7/10 year-olds, this programme introduces songs, flash-card games, short role plays, and reading, listening and writing activities which are suited to this age group.
¡Buenos días España!
Ages 8-11
With ¡Buenos días España! while the core vocabulary is revised, there is a greater emphasis on role play. Further optional vocabulary has been added. The songs, games and activities are suited to older children.
All pupils use the role play, stories, songs and action chants into new contexts, to use the language for their own purposes. These role plays form an essential part of the foundation for further work in the next programme - Mi Viaje por España.
